Our new KCS app makes staying connected with your child’s school easier than ever! Here are a few quick tips to get the most out of it:
1️⃣ Favorite Your Student’s School – Make sure your child’s school is marked as a favorite so you can access it quickly. You can favorite multiple schools so you can easily flip back and forth between multiple schools.
2️⃣ Set the Default School – Change your default school so when you open the app, your child’s school appears first instead of the district page.
3️⃣ Explore the Menu – Find important info like documents, lunch menus, the school calendar, and the online attendance excuse form—all in one place!

😊 It was a night for the arts at West Side Middle School! 🎻
The WSMS band, strings, and chorus performances were fantastic — students did a great job. Afterward, families joined in for some fun with trivia, birdhouse building, tree painting with Mr. E (a.k.a. Bob Ross 🌳🎨), and checking out student art and a West Virginia history display around the school.
It was great seeing the building filled with families — and we’re pretty sure no one left hungry thanks to Chick-fil-A! 🍗

This is a huge honor that recognizes your incredible knowledge of WV history. 🌄🏫 We are proud of you and you should be proud of yourselves as well! Your name's will be in West Virginia history forever as a 2025 knight of the Golden Horseshoe! 👏🏆
