Mr. McPhail and our West Side Middle school students have been working with NGK Spark plug plant on a project called “What’s Cool about Manufacturing.” Our students' project won the grand prize in the Kanawha district!

WSMS Student Council will be selling Valentines this year! They will be for pre-order and will be delivered to your child on Valentine’s Day. You may stop in and pay Ms. Ramsey in the office at any time. Students may also come in and place an order for a friend or teacher on their lunch.

Pennies for Payton
“Pennies for Payton” jugs have been placed in the cafeteria. The grade that donates the most will receive an ice cream party at the end of February. The money will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House in Cincinnati. If you have any questions, please see Ms. Ramsey or Mr. Lewis.
Birthday Celebration - Marquee
Celebrate your child’s birthday with a personalized message on our school marquee. The cost is $5.00. Please contact the office for more details.

Welcome Back
Welcome Back to School WolfPack! The first day for students is Monday, August 9th. Doors open for students at 7:30 AM and the day concludes at 2:45 PM (Please click on the link below to find out what bus you ride). Breakfast and lunch are served at no cost to our students. When students enter the building, the sixth grade will report to the cafeteria, the seventh grade will report to the inside gym, and the eighth grade will go to the auditorium. 6th Grade Back to School Night
The 6th grade teachers will be hosting our new student and their parents for a back to school night on August 4th from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM.
