Beginning tomorrow morning, Kanawha County Schools Transportation will begin sending text messages directly to parents/guardians when a student’s bus number or route changes.
All families of current bus riders will receive a message tomorrow morning to confirm they are connected. No signup or additional app is required. Parents/guardians may reply STOP to unsubscribe at any time.
Bus changes will continue to be posted on the KCS website. To view them online, click the Bus Changes link on the homepage.
Parents who do not receive a text message tomorrow, but have a student who rides a bus, can contact the KCS Transportation Department to complete a form to receive future notifications.
This update is designed to improve communication and provide families with timely information to support student safety and transportation planning.
